Win the Ultimate Dog-Friendly Wedding Experience – Competition 

 

1. Promoters

This competition is jointly organised by The Eventful Pup and Sarah Harris Photography (together referred to as 'the Promoters'). By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. The Prize

One winning couple will receive both of the following services for their wedding day: 


The Eventful Pup – The Celebration Companion Package (worth £595), including:

  • Complimentary meet & greet

  • Pre-wedding consultation

  • Collection and transport within the included service area

  • Wedding day dog chaperone service for one dog (up to 8 hours)

  • Walks, toilet breaks, water and care throughout the day

  • Assistance during the ceremony and couple portraits

  • Liaising with your photographer, videographer (if applicable) and venue

  • Behind-the-scenes photos and videos throughout the day

  • Safe return home or to an agreed location

    Sarah Harris Photography - (worth £1250)

  • Up to 8 hours of wedding photography

  • Coverage from bridal preparations through to the first dance

  • A private online gallery

  • Every meaningful moment from your day, professionally edited in Sarah's signature style


The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another couple or substituted for alternative services unless agreed in writing by both businesses.

3. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

  1. Follow both businesses on Instagram and/or Facebook.

  2. Like the competition post.

  3. Tag one engaged friend in the comments (each separate comment counts as one entry).

  4. Share the competition post to your Story for one bonus entry (optional).


4. Eligibility

Entrants must:

  • Be aged 18 years or over.

  • Be planning a wedding taking place between 1 January 2027 and 31 December 2027.

  • Be getting married within Kent or Sussex.

  • Be planning to include at least one dog in their wedding.

  • Require both professional wedding photography and a dedicated wedding dog chaperone as part of their wedding day.

  • Ensure their chosen venue permits dogs and comply with all venue dog policies and restrictions.

If the wedding is outside the included travel area, additional mileage, travel or accommodation charges may apply.

Existing bookings are not eligible unless agreed in writing by both businesses.

The winning couple will be selected at random from eligible entries whose wedding date can be accommodated by both businesses.


5. Competition Dates


Competition opens: Saturday 8 August 2026

Competition closes: Wednesday 30 September 2026 at 11:59pm (BST)

Winner announced: Sunday 1 November 2026


6. Winner Selection

  • Following the competition closing date, entries will be reviewed to confirm eligibility. A winner will then be selected at random from all eligible entries for weddings on dates that can be accommodated by both businesses. 

  • The winner will be contacted via the social media account used to enter. 

  • The winner must respond within 72 hours.

  • If no response is received, another winner may be selected.


7. Booking Requirements

The winning couple must:

  • Sign the standard contracts for both businesses.

  • Agree to each business's Terms & Conditions (excluding payment for the prize services).

  • Provide all requested wedding information.

  • Obtain permission from their venue for their dog to attend.

  • Ensure their dog is suitable for a wedding environment and disclose any behavioural or medical conditions.

  • The winner must book no later than 30 days after accepting the prize, unless otherwise agreed.

Any additional hours, products or services requested beyond the prize package will be charged at the normal rates.




8. Photography, Video & Marketing Permission

As this competition has been created to showcase both businesses, the winning couple agrees to:

  • Grant both businesses permission to use photographs and videos from the wedding for portfolios, websites, social media, printed marketing and other promotional materials. 

  • Allow behind-the-scenes content captured by The Eventful Pup to be used for marketing.


If a videographer is booked, reasonable access must be provided so that behind-the-scenes content can be captured without interfering with their work.

9. Venue Requirements

The winning couple is responsible for ensuring:

  • Their venue allows dogs.

  • All venue dog policies and restrictions are followed.

  • Any permissions required by the venue are obtained.

    Neither business accepts responsibility if a venue later refuses permission for a dog to attend.


10. Cancellation & Availability

The prize is valid only for weddings taking place between 1 January 2027 and 31 December 2027. The winning couple will be selected from eligible entries whose wedding date can be accommodated by both businesses.

If the winner changes their wedding date after the prize has been accepted, the prize remains subject to both businesses being available on the new date.

If either business is unable to fulfil the prize due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, reasonable efforts will be made to offer an alternative solution. If this is not possible, the Promoters reserve the right to amend or withdraw the prize.

The prize is for the winner's own wedding and cannot be transferred.

If the winning couple cancels their wedding, the prize will be forfeited and cannot be transferred or exchanged. 


11. General

  • This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram or Facebook.

  • Entrants release Instagram and Facebook from all responsibility relating to this competition.

  • The Promoters reserve the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition if circumstances beyond their control make this necessary.

  • The Promoters reserve the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entrant who breaches these Terms & Conditions.

  • By entering, entrants confirm they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
